The next assets I worked on which were untextured at alpha stage is the street signs.
I managed to get them textured and added an AO map to them even if it may not show much difference.
It doesn't seem to make much difference to the model from the front, but from the back you can see shadowing from where the pole is.
Next I planned to work on some more props for inside the pub area, some of the ones we missed for alpha stage that were untextured.
This is some of the the assets showing the comparison of it with and without an AO map.
I continued to work on assets that were untextured at alpha stage just because I feel that these are more important at this stage and we need to get everything textured before refining assets.
Here is the juke box I worked on.
It is quite bright and not many shadows are being shown.
This is what it looks like with AO map applied.
You can see that it as added in the shadows to where is needed.
Here is a comparison I did to show the difference between the two.
After working on the bus asset I changed the bus a little bit and added another shade of green a bit darker than other one and changed the wheels to give them bit more shape and roundness.
As you can see I have made sure that there are different shades of green for that realistic effect and to make it look as if some paint as worn away.
